About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Education Manager to lead and coordinate the academic, administrative, and operational functions of our training provision.
The successful candidate will ensure the effective delivery of education and vocational programmes, maintain high standards of quality assurance, and support the continued development and expansion of the organisation.
This role reports directly to the Director and plays a key part in shaping the strategic and operational success of Skillup Notts Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, organisation, and delivery of education and vocational training programmes
- Oversee admissions, enrolment, registration, assessment, and certification processes
- Provide administrative and academic support to teaching and training teams
- Contribute to curriculum development and organisational planning
- Develop and maintain quality assurance systems and ensure compliance with regulatory and awarding body requirements
- Manage learner enquiries, feedback, and complaints in line with policies and procedures
- Organise examinations, assessments, and invigilation arrangements
- Support recruitment, induction, and professional development of staff
- Monitor learner progress, achievement, and performance outcomes
- Assist with marketing, outreach, and stakeholder engagement activities
- Support the expansion of training provision and development of new programmes
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have:
- A Masters or equivalent professional qualification (essential)
- Experience in adult education management, training delivery, and community skills training
- Team management
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and compliance in education or training settings
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience working with awarding organisations (desirable)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
